T2W3

Sports day today is catastrophic. With the size of the stadium analogous to a one-room flat and the stuffy weather it was as if we were trapped in a one-room flat on fire. However, the events that took place neutralized the stuffiness and jolted me out of my boredom to cheer for our school. The event that i feel that is the most interesting is the relay race of the pedagogues. I can feel that the teachers regain their youth and running like that never ran before in a break-neck speed. Oh yeah! Forgot to mention that Bing Hong keeps asking me for my phone to play games which is very irascible. Anyway, is very enjoyable and i hope to attend it again.

T2W2

Secondary three's life is really tough and i could barely cope with it. I just got back my marks of the tests before the march holidays and it was really lousy. Passed terribly for my english, maths and biology. Sigh... Must really work hard the next test. In the meantime, i decided to fabricate a story to delude my parents about not able to get back my test papers while hiding them in a covert place(learnt this skill from hubert), until when there is nothing more to lie I will then acknowledge that i had done badly for the test. Will I succeed?

Inspector James had to ponder over whether this piece of evidence is bona fide. He had received lots of calls from the public claiming they saw the wanted terrorist Al Khatos. Was his escape in desultory due to the lack of security? Was there anyone that help him escape? He was also kept on tenter hooks by his superiors that urge him to catch him as soon as possible thus he had to be like Caesar's wife so that he will not overlook any evidence that will send the terrorist back to the detention centre again.

Computer games addiction

Today's computer games are available in a plethora of venues that draw individuals into the world of the game. Games are designed to keep the player riveted to action. Players experience a sense of control when they enter into the fantasy world of speed, realism, violence, new morals, and interoperability. Many games offer on-line anonymous interaction with other people; it gives players a sense of family or belonging in the form of a pseudo persona the player develops when repeatedly playing the game. The longer the game is played, the more the pseudo persona can replace reality. This result in addiction in gaming. So why are our kids so addicted nowadays?

Firstly, the access of computer has led kids to start playing computer games. As almost every household could afford to have computers nowadays kids get exposed to gaming at a young age. Internet also allows games to be played online or downloaded easily.

Secondly, to add on to the point i mentioned earlier of having Internet access, there are examples of online games like Maple Story and Runescape. These are the common online games played by kids nowadays and you must have Internet access to play these games.

Thirdly, these games are highly addictive and allow you to level up when you obtain enough experience. These kind of games normally are the main causes of addiction as the player will keep wanting to go on and on to level up. By playing these games they find a satisfaction that they cannot get academically in school. They can feel superior to the "nerds" in school.

So people may say that they should not buy a computer for their child or have Internet access at home. However, parents can buy for them if they keep a close eye on their children. They should adopt whatever method that they think is good for their children but not to ban them from everything or their effort will backfire.
